Pumpkin Patches
Vertuccio Farms Annual Fall Festival
- When: October 2 to October 31, 2026
- Location: Vertuccio Farms - 4011 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ 85212
- Activities: open Wednesday through Sunday; admission includes access to a corn maze, petting zoo, mega slide, carnival games, barrel train ride, jump pad, mini golf, playground, and a you-pick pumpkin area (priced separately).
- Cost: admission is $17 per person, ages 2 and under are free
- Other fun facts: dogs are allowed as long as they’re on a leash and friendly.
Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party 2026
- When: October 1 to October 31, 2026
- Location: Schnepf Farms - 24810 S Rittenhouse Road Queen Creek, AZ 85142
- Activities: open Wednesday to Sunday throughout the week; attractions and rides are included with admission and include mini golf, petting zoo, stunt dog show, pig races, ropes course, hayrides and 10-acre hay maze, and a train ride and pumpkin patch (extra charge). There will also be a bakery country store and candy shop, chili dinners, hot dogs, tacos, food trucks, apple cider donuts and more!
- Cost: General Admission tickets are about $30.00 depending on the day you visit and discounted family packs and season passes are available online too.
Mother Nature’s Farm Pumpkin Patch
- When: from September 26 to November 1
- Location: Mother Nature’s Farm - 1663 E. Baseline Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85233
- Activities: open 9am to 9pm daily; admission includes a pumpkin to take home, spider web crawl, straw bale maze, farm animals, hayride, corn pit, outdoor games, and more!
- Cost: Adults are $17, children $15 – under 1 year old are free
- Other fun facts: picnic tables are available to enjoy a packed meal or to enjoy one from the farm
Mesa:
Eastmark Halloween Spooktacular: Wizarding Academy
- When: October 16 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm
- Location: Eastmark Great Park
- Activities: Come find your inner wizard as the park transforms into a spellbinding campus of wonder and mystery for witches and wizards of all ages. There will be a sorting ceremony, a spooky hedge maze, classic carnival rides, specialty mocktails, local food trucks, and a DJ!
- Cost: FREE for Eastmark residents ( 6 wristbands per household, additional available for $10) – Wristbands are required for everyone ages 2 and up, so make sure to register ahead.
- Other fun facts: We will be passing out s'mores again this year! It's always a crowd favorite so make sure not to miss it!
P.S. I Love You Fall Festival
- When: September 26 from 10am to 4pm
- Location: Arizona Athletic Grounds Field House A - 6321 S. Ellsworth Road
- Activities: shop at booths with more than 200 local vendors at the indoor Field House. There will be live music, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, mini golf, photo booth and more.
- Cost: $5 online plus taxes and fees
- Other fun facts: parking is available for free
Skate Party at the Plaza
- When: September 26 from 6pm to 9pm
- Location: Plaza at Mesa City Center – 56 E. Main Street Mesa
- Activities: bring your skates and cruise around the Plaza in downtown Mesa with friends and family. There will be a DJ and games. Food trucks are also available for food purchase.
- Cost: Free!
- Other fun facts: Minecraft Movie also showing at the Plaza that night
Celebrate Mesa
- When: October 10 from 5pm to 9pm
- Location: Red Mountain Multiuse Fields South – 905 N. Sunvalley Road Mesa AZ
- Activities: carnival rides and bounce houses, petting zoo, and face painting and more!
- Cost: Free!
Haunting on Main Street
- When: October 24 from 10am to 1pm
- Location: Downtown Mesa – 1 N. Macdonald Mesa, AZ
- Activities: themed games, activities, cotton candy, crafts and trick-or-treating with local merchants
- Cost: Free!

Dia de Los Muertos Festival
- When: Saturday, October 24 from 12pm to 10om and Sunday, October 25 from 12pm to 5pm
- Location: Mesa Arts Center – 1 E. Main Street Mesa, AZ
- Activities: celebrate the art and culture related to the Mexican holiday, the Day of the Dead. There will be live performances, crafts, and more in celebration of the memories of the deceased.
- Cost: Free!
Pumpkin Splash
- When: October 24 from 3pm to 5pm and from 6pm to 8pm
- Location: Stapley Aquatic Complex – 3250 E. Hermosa Vista Drive Mesa, AZ
- Activities: take a dip in a floating pumpkin patch and pick out your perfect pumpkin in the pool. There will also be Halloween carnival games, prizes and festivities for all ages!

AZ Craft Beer Fest
- When: October 31 from 11am to 4pm
- Location: Downtown Mesa – 26 N. Macdonald Mesa AZ
- Activities: celebrate the best of Arizona beer! General admission includes entrance at 12pm and 20 drink tickets of 5oz beers and a commemorative glass. Food trucks also available.
- Cost: General admission tickets are $48, VIP tickets are $67
- Other fun facts: VIP entry starts at 11am; VIP also includes 25 drink tickets and a commemorative glass; event is 21+, pretzel necklaces and Halloween costumes are allowed. Designated driver tickets also available online.
Haunted Hanger at Falcon Field Airport
- When: October 31 from 8am to 11am
- Location: Falcon Field Airport – 4626 E. Fighter Aces Drive Mesa, AZ
- Activities: explore this historic WWII Hanger up close and trick or treat with City of Mesa departments and Falcon Field businesses

Copper State Whiskey Festival
- When: November 14 from 3pm to 8pm
- Location: Sloan Park – 2330 W. Rio Salado Pkwy Mesa, AZ
- Activities: explore premium whiskey tasting experiences throughout Sloan Park and enjoy live music, food trucks, a cigar lounge and more!
- Cost: for General Admission entry begins at 5pm and includes a souvenir tasting glass, 14 whiskey samples, cigar lounge access for $50; General Admission Plus gets early entry at 4pm plus the tasting glass and 16 samples for $60; VIP Experience entry begins at 3pm and includes the tasting glass, 20 samples and VIP Lounge access and VIP parking for $125

Uptown Chandler’s Rocktoberfest

- When: October 24 from 12pm to 2pm
- Location: Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center – 5901 S. Hillcrest Drive Chandler
- Activities: jump into the heated pool filled with pumpkins and participate in an on-deck costume contest
- Cost: $5
AZ48 Half Marathon
- When: October 25 starting at 6:30am
- Location: Downtown Chandler Stage – 178 E. Commonwealth Avenue Chandler
- Activities: race distances of 13.1, 10k and 5k through Chandler
- Cost: 5k sign up from $33 up to $79 for half marathon distance
- Other fun facts: racers will receive a finisher medal and option to add race merchandise
Salute to Service 5k
- When: October 25 from 8am to 12pm
- Location: Veterans Oasis Park – 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road Chandler
- Activities: join the community for a casual walk or run through the trails of Veterans Oasis Park to honor military veterans.
- Cost: $25
- Other fun facts: every participant will receive a finisher’s medal
Halloween Spooktacular
- When: October 30 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
- Location: Dr. AJ Chandler Park Stage Plaza – 178 E. Commonwealth Avenue Chandler
- Activities: a family-friendly night filled with spooky fun! Join the catwalk costume parade at either 6:15pm or 7:30pm, play carnival and inflatable games for candy and rewards, participate in the trunk-or-treat stations, and enjoy food truck sections.

Entre Dos Mundos: A Dia de Muertos Celebration
- When: November 1 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm
- Location: Chandler Center for the Arts – 250 N. Arizona Avenue Chandler
- Activities: family friendly event with local vendors, a food court, live music, storytelling, cultural activities, art and a community altar to honor the connection between the living and those who have passed.

27th Annual Chandler Mariachi and Folklorico Festival
- When: November 1 starting at 4pm
- Location: Chandler Center for the Arts – 250 N. Arizona Avenue Chandler
- Activities: following the free community celebration for Dia de Los Muertos, the Chandler Mariachi and Folklorico Festival will feature live performances and dancers to celebrate the Mexican culture through music and dancing.

Diwali: Festival of Lights
- When: November 7 starting at 10am
- Location: Chandler City Hall Courtyard – 175 S. Arizona Avenue Chandler
- Activities: celebrate one of India’s most cherished holidays with food, vendors, cultural traditions and activities. Indian dances and musical performances will run thoughout the evening.

Woofstock
- When: November 21 from 9am to 1pm
- Location: Tumbleweed Park – 2250 S. McQueen Road Chandler,
- Activities: activities will run all morning, including pet adoptions, pet psychic readings, dog agility course, bark park, and pet caricatures.

Queen Creek Founders’ Day 2026
- When: September 19 from 5pm to 9pm
- Location: Frontier Family Park – 20039 S. 220th Street Queen Creek
- Activities: fun activities, carnival games, mini golf, vendors, Battle of the Badge relay style competitions and more!
- Cost: wristbands are available for purchase for $15
- Other fun facts: sign up online to participate in the cornhole tournament. A parking and shuttle service map are also available online.

¡Viva! A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage
- When: September 25 from 6pm to 8:30pm
- Location: Water Tower Plaza
- Activities: a vibrant community event to honor Hispanic Heritage month that showcases cultural entertainment, activities for all ages and local vendors.

Gilbert Concerts in the Park
- When: Thursday evenings in October – October 1, October 15, October 22, October 29
- Location: Water Tower Plaza
- Activities: bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the live outdoor music

Sound Bites Music and Food Festival
- When: October 9 from 4:30pm to 10pm
- Location: Gilbert Regional Park
- Activities: live music, local craft brews and food truck favorites and restaurant pop-ups
- Cost: General Admission tickets are $50 online – kids 11 and under are free with a GA ticket. $60 admission at the door.
- Other fun facts: parking will be available on-site for $20 per car. Clear bag policy.
Gilbert Days Parade
- When: November 21 from 8:30am to 11am – rain or shine!
- Location: Gilbert Heritage District
- Activities: 80 amazing floats and parade entries will make their way down Gilbert Road
- Cost: Free!
Gilbert Days Festival
- When: November 21 from 4pm to 9pm – rain or shine!
- Location: Gilbert Regional Park
- Activities: live music, food, drinks, and local shopping! The park will also feature 10+ inflatables and backyard games.
- Cost: Tickets purchased online are $5 per person for ages 12 and older; $10 per person at the gate. Children 11 and under are free but must be admitted with an adult general admission ticket.
- Other fun facts: the celebration is open to all ages and there will be a Sensory Friendly Space available on site. Attendees are able to bring seating like chairs and blankets and sealed water
Gilbert Days Rodeo 2026
- When: November 19 through 22
- Location: Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre - 20464 E Riggs Rd Queen Creek, AZ
- Activities: events include steer riding, a lil’ dudes rodeo, mutton busting, and more classic rodeo activities
- Cost: Tickets are required for each day of the rodeo and range from $10 to $20 for children, $20-$25 for adults and $80 for family tickets.
Gilbert Days Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k 2026
- When: November 21 from 7am to 11:00am
- Location: Verde at Cooley Station - 3975 E. Williams Field Road Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: this USATF certified course is perfect for any racing distance, from 5k, 10k or a half marathon.
- Cost: race entry varies by distance, from $50-$100
- Other fun facts: stick around after the race for special discounts from the Verde at Cooley Station businesses. Proceeds from the race go to the Shun the Fun Foundation for prevention and education of skin cancer.
Gilbert Days Softball Tournament 2026
- When: November 14 and 15 from 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Location: Cactus Yards
- Activities: The Annual Gilbert Days Softball Tournament is held across many categories- women’s, men’s, and co-ed. Teams can expect a 3 game guarantee and prizes are awarded to the top teams.

Veterans Day Ceremony and Classic Car Show
- When: November 11 – Car Show from 3pm to 5pm and Ceremony from 5pm – 6pm
- Location: Gilbert Water Tower Plaza
- Activities: celebrate Veteran’s Day with special guest speakers, musical performances, and military displays. A car show will also be featured in the area before the event starts

Scottsdale:
Spook-Track-Ula 2026 at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park
- When: October 1 to 31 from 6pm to 9:30pm
- Location: McCormick Stillman Railroad Park
- Activities: hop aboard the festive train for a thrilling ride through a haunted path and spooky surprises. There will also be carousel rides, a story train, haunted walkthrough and family-friendly fun.

Scottsdale Fall Festival
- When: October 17 starting at 5pm to 9pm
- Location: Scottsdale Civic Center
- Activities: live band and DJ, food trucks and a cocktail garden, trick-or-treating and carnival games, hands-on-crafts and activities and various community booths.
- Cost: free!

Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival
- When: October 23 to October 25
- Salt River Fields at Talking Stick – 7555 N. Pima Road Scottsdale, AZ
- Activities: 20+ hot air balloons from around the country serve as trick-or-treat stations with candy and treats handed out and nightly costume contests (kids, adults, and groups can participate). You will also be able to ride a tethered balloon – tickets sold separately from entrance tickets
- Cost: tickets range from $17 for children ages 3-12 and $22 for adults
- Other fun facts: food and drinks, exhibitors and vendors will also be at the event. Free parking.
Dunkin for Pumpkins
- When: October 25 starting at 1pm to 3:30pm
- Location: McDowell Mountain Ranch Park & Aquatic Center
- Activities: floating pumpkin patch that will also feature pumpkin decorating, carnival games, crafts, and music.

Tempe:
Zombie Zoo Halloween Adventure at World of Illumination
- Location: Tempe Diablo Stadium – 2200 W Alameda Drive Tempe
- Activities: a drive-thru experience with interactive lights and spooky Halloween decor
- Cost: from $40 per vehicle
- Other fun facts: one ticket covers the entire car – per vehicle, not per person. The experience takes about 20-30 minutes to drive through.
