Upcoming Fall Events 2025
You can feel the weather starting to change for the better in Arizona and that can only mean one thing - Fall is in the air! Here is a list of family friendly fall activities coming up in in the next month!
Eastmark
Eastmark’s Halloween Spooktacular: Villain Takeover
Pumpkin Patches
Vertuccio Farms Annual Fall Festival
- When: October 3 to November 2 – Wednesdays and Thursdays 3pm to 9pm; Fridays and Saturdays 9am to 10pm; Sundays 12pm to 7pm
- Location: Vertuccio Farms - 4011 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ
- Activities: pumpkin patch, 5-acre corn maze, barrel train ride, spider web crawl, petting zoo, pig races, ropes course, mini golf, carnival games, and more.
- Cost: $17 per person; ages 2 years and under are free
- Other fun facts: Vertuccio Farms Fall Fest is closed Monday and Tuesday, except for the last week of October. Dogs are allowed as long as they’re leashed and friendly.
Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party
- When: October 3 to October 31- Wednesdays from 5pm to 9pm; Thursdays 12pm to 9pm; Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 10pm; Sundays 10am to 9pm
- Location: Schnepf Farms - 24810 S Rittenhouse Road Queen Creek, AZ
- Activities: amusement rides, zip lining, train rides, hayrides, and outdoor games. Also features a couple corn mazes, a petting zoo and play yards for children. Many shops and food vendors are open each night as well.
- Cost: General Admission tickets are on sale online for $29 (plus add-ons for different rides, etc.)
- Other fun facts: Schnepf Farms is pet friendly to leashed pets but be mindful of the weekend fireworks and dog show. Parking is free. Not included in GA tickets are food, pumpkins, paintball and the train ride and haunted bus.
Mother Nature’s Farm Pumpkin Patch
- When: September 27 to November 2; Monday to Sunday 9am to 9pm
- Location: Mother Nature’s Farm – 1663 E. Baseline Road Gilbert, AZ 85233
- Activities: hayride, straw bale maze, spider web crawl, bounce house, corn pit, outdoor games and more! The pumpkin patch is stocked with fresh pumpkins daily!
- Cost: $17.00 per person
- Other fun facts: Concessions and food for feeding animals is cash only
Mesa:
- When: October 11 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm
- Location: Red Mountain Multiuse Fields South, 905 N Sunvalley Blvd, Mesa, AZ
- Activities: live music, food trucks, carnival rides, petting zoo, inflatables, tot play area, rock climbing wall, face painting, and more!
- Cost: FREE!
- When: October 25 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm
- Location: Stapley Aquatic Complex, 3250 E Hermosa Vista Dr Mesa, AZ
- Activities: take a dip in the pool with a floating pumpkin patch – take home your perfect pumpkin right from the pool!
- Cost: FREE!
- Other fun facts: there will also be Halloween carnival games, prizes, and a lifeguard costume contest. Costumes are encouraged for attendees as well.
Boo’ze and Brews Halloween Bar Crawl
- When: October 25 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
- Location: Downtown Mesa
- Activities: exclusive access to themed drink specials at participating bars and restaurants.

- Other fun facts: dress to impress in a Halloween costume
- When: October 25 to October 26 from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day
- Location: Mesa Arts Center, 1 E Main St., Mesa, AZ
- Activities: celebrate Latin American art and culture related to this Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead. Live performances and celebrations are scheduled.

Haunted Hangar at Falcon Field Airport
- When: October 25 from 8:00am to 11:00am
- Location: Falcon Field Airport, 4626 E. Fighter Aces Dr., Mesa, AZ
- Activities: a special Halloween edition of the Cockpit Close-Up series – explore the historic World War II Hanger and aircrafts in your costumes!
- Cost: FREE!
- Other fun facts: trick-or-treating also in the Falcon Field business area
East Valley Veterans Day Parade
- When: Tuesday, November 11 from 11:00am to 1:00pm
- Location: Downtown Mesa - 263 N. Center St., Mesa, AZ, 85201
- Activities: this year’s theme celebrates 250 years of armed forces to honor the soldiers, airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen that have and do serve.
- Cost: FREE!
- Other fun facts: the parade starts on Center Street and University in Mesa and runs south on Center Street to 1st Street then turns west onto 1st and continues to Robson
Chandler
- When: October 31 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
- Location: Dr. AJ Chandler Park Stage Plaza - 178 E. Commonwealth Ave Chandler, AZ
- Activities: trick-or-treat in Downtown Chandler featuring games like musical headstones, inflatable axe throwing, hula hoop toss, a spooky prize wheel, trunk-or-treat stations and a little monsters zone for kids 5 and under.

- Other fun facts: Costumes are welcome! Participate in a Catwalk Costume Parade at 6:15pm and 7:30pm, fun for all ages.
- When: October 25 from 10:00am to 1:30pm
- Location: Downtown Chandler Library – 22 S. Delaware St Chandler, AZ
- Activities: celebrate one of India’s most cherished festivals, the Festival of Lights, with live music, dancing, and live performances. Free arts and crafts activities for kids are also available.
- Cost: FREE!
- Other fun facts: this event is open to the public for those that want to celebrate light, music, and joy.
- When: November 15 from 9:00am to 1:00pm
- Location: Tumbleweed Park – 2250 S. McQueen Road Chandler, AZ
- Activities: explore an offering of pet-related vendors and activities with your furry friends. There will also be pet adoptions, pet psychic readings, pet caricatures, and more!

Queen Creek
- When: Sunday, November 8 from 9:00pm to 11:00am
- Location: Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre - 20464 E. Riggs Road Queen Creek, AZ
- Activities: enjoy IHOP pancakes, Starbucks coffee, information booths, performances, a petting zoo, and free flu shots
- Cost: FREE!
Gilbert
- When: Thursday evenings in October (October 9, October 16, October 23) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
- Location: Water Tower Plaza
- Activities: the weekly concert series shows off some of the Valley’s best bands across a variety of genres.
- Cost: FREE!
Sound Bites Music & Food Festival
- When: October 11 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm
- Location: Gilbert Regional Park - 3005 East Queen Creek Road Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: a festival that features local eats and live music. Live bands include Southbound, Shelby Stone, Cracker, and Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers.
- Cost: adult ticket prices range from $35 (plus fees) online to $50 at the door
- Other fun facts: Parking is available on site for $15 per car (card only) and opens at 1:30pm. No outside food/beverages are permitted. Children 11 years and under are free.
Gilbert Cinemas: Movies in the Park
- When: October 10 and 17 – movie starts at 6:30pm
- Location: Page Park - 98 N Oak St, Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: on Friday October 10 enjoy Lilo and Stitch in the park’s field. Friday, October 17 will show A Minecraft Movie
- Cost: FREE!
- Other fun facts: the field opens at 5:00pm and the movie will start at 6:30pm. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the movie – your own food and drinks are permitted, as well as leashed dogs.

- Location: Gilbert Regional Park - 3005 East Queen Creek Road Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: Performers include Pitbull, Lil’ Jon, Shaggy, Ginuwine, Ying Yang Twins, Baby Bash, and Mims.
- Cost: general admission starts at $125; VIP starting at $225 – tickets available online
- Other fun facts: there will also be tequila tastings and art installations
- When: November 22 from 8:30am to 11:00am
- Location: Gilbert Heritage District
- Activities: as a part of the Gilbert Days weekend, watch 80 amazing floats and parade entries walk along Elliot Rd and Juniper Ave
- Cost: Free!
- When: November 21 and 22 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm
- Location: Gilbert Regional Park - 3005 East Queen Creek Road Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: another staple of Gilbert Days, this festival features live music, food, and drinks.
- Cost: Tickets are required for each day of the festival - $5 per person online; $10 per person at the gate.
- Other fun facts: there will also be a showcase of vendors offering crafts, snacks, toys, and treats.
- When: November 21 through 23, 2025 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm
- Location: Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre - 20464 E Riggs Rd Queen Creek, AZ
- Activities: events include steer riding, a lil’ dudes rodeo, mutton busting, and more classic rodeo activities
- Cost: Tickets are required for each day of the rodeo and range from $10 to $20 for children, $20-$25 for adults and $80 for family tickets.
Gilbert Days Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k
- When: November 22 from 8:30am to 11:00am
- Location: Verde at Cooley Station - 3975 E. Williams Field Road Gilbert, AZ
- Activities: this USATF certified course is perfect for any racing distance, from 5k, 10k or a half marathon.
- Cost: race entry varies by distance, from $40-$100
- Other fun facts: stick around after the race for special discounts from the Verde at Cooley Station businesses. Proceeds from the race go to the Shun the Fun Foundation for prevention and education of skin cancer.
Gilbert Days Softball Tournament 2025
- When: November 15 and 16 from 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Location: Cactus Yards
- Activities: The 36th Annual Gilbert Days Softball Tournament is held across many categories- women’s, men’s, and co-ed. Teams can expect a 3 game guarantee and prizes are awarded to the top teams.
- Cost: $375.00 for a team
- Other fun facts: participants should be 16 years or older
Scottsdale
- When: October 18 and 19 from 11:00am to 7:00pm
- Location: Salt River Fields at Talking Stick – 7555 N. Pima Road Scottsdale, AZ
- Activities: over 40 restaurants, food trucks and street food vendors from around the Valley will showcase all types of tacos
- Cost: General Admission tickets start at $17
- Other fun facts: there will also be live music and DJs, tequila tastings, kids zone and other vendors. Kids 12 and under are free
Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival
- When: October 24 to October 26 starting at 5:00pm to 9:00pm
- Location: Salt River Fields at Talking Stick – 7555 N. Pima Road Scottsdale, AZ
- Activities: 20+ hot air balloons from around the country serve as trick-or-treat stations with candy and treats handed out and nightly costume contests (kids, adults, and groups can participate). You will also be able to ride a tethered balloon – tickets sold separately for $30 for adults, $20 for children
- Cost: tickets range from $21.50 for children ages 3-12 and $28 for adults
- Other fun facts: food and drinks, exhibitors and vendors will also be at the event. Free parking.
